Worship is more than just what happens on Sunday, it’s a lifestyle.  From organizing the order of worship each Sunday, to selecting those who will be serving in that capacity, our main focus is that when we’re serving and worshipping the Lord, we’re doing it with praise and honor to Him.

First Touch Ministry

The First Touch Ministry is an essential part of the ministry at The Garden Oaks Church of Christ. They are the “first contacts” for people who come to worship on Sundays and other special events. Our First Touch Ministry are the people who stand on the front porch of The Garden Oaks Church and welcome people as they enter God's house.  The First Touch Ministry serves guests and church family alike, helping each person to find a place that meets their needs, offering a program, a friendly handshake, and a warm welcome, but most importantly, guarding the presence of God by keeping order and exemplifying the fruit of the Spirit to everyone that enters the premises of The Garden Oaks Church of Christ.
